Nancy Caruso is the photographer behind Photo By Nancy, an Adelaide-based photography business specialising in newborn, family and christening photography. With over 12 years of experience, Nancy is based in Mawson Lakes and photographs families across all Adelaide metro suburbs — no travel fee. There is no studio — all sessions take place in clients' homes, outdoors, or at event venues. Her approach is calm, documentary and lifestyle-focused, capturing genuine moments without forced poses.

Hi, I’m Nancy, a passionate Adelaide photographer, Mumma, wife, and proud Italian at heart. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me café-hopping around Adelaide with friends or family, relaxing and having "me time", embracing my Italian heritage, and gathering with loved ones together for long, laughter-filled get-togethers.
Family and connection are at the heart of everything I do. I specialise in newborn, family, and christening photography, capturing genuine, meaningful moments that are cherished for years to come. From the quiet tenderness of those early newborn days, to joyful christenings surrounded by family, and the beautiful chaos of growing families — I believe the most powerful photographs are created when you feel relaxed, present, and truly yourselves.
My approach is calm, natural, and unobtrusive, allowing moments to unfold without pressure or forced posing — especially with little ones.
