Where will my Christening session take place?
Your locations depend on the collection you select. Most families opt for our most popular 3-hour coverage, which easily spans three locations: quiet morning preparations at your home, the church ceremony and group portraits, and the reception celebration. If you would like to stop at a local leafy park nearby for portraits in between, we can easily factor that into your timeline.
What do I need to have ready when you arrive?
To capture those clean, beautiful morning preparation images, a clutter-free space with good natural light is ideal. Simply clearing off bedside tables or styling a single room is plenty! If you are still running a little behind when I arrive—putting on lipstick, finishing up suits, or giving bub a top-up feed—please do not stress at all. I will immediately start capturing the gorgeous fine details: the gown or suit, jewellery, invitations, candles, and gifts for the godparents.
How much support will I receive on the day?
I am there to photograph your milestones, but I am also there to fully support your family. If this is your first baby and you are feeling flustered, I have got you. I regularly step in to help get outfits ready, remind you of the essential items that need to go to the church, keep track of the time, and ensure everyone arrives at each location perfectly on schedule. You can simply sit back, breathe, and enjoy the day.
How far in advance should I book my session?
Because church ceremonies and weekend dates are in exceptionally high demand across Adelaide, it is best to book your photography session as soon as you have confirmed your date with the church.
How long after the ceremony will I receive my images?
Your hand-edited Christening gallery will be ready to view and download within 4 to 6 weeks of your event. Custom physical artwork, heirloom leather albums, and printed canvases may take a little longer to be beautifully crafted and delivered.
How many photos in total will I receive?
Because I photograph to authentically document the story of your day, there is no strict image limit. If something special is happening, I am there capturing it. A standard 3-hour coverage typically yields upwards of 250+ beautifully curated, high-resolution images.
